Hello Linda,
It seems you might already be experiencing the magic as you read this, and I must say, I’m a little envious!
The
Skyliner is, without a doubt, my favourite form of Disney transportation. It’s both quick and relaxing – not a combination you often come across! The Skyliner serves five stations: Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios,
Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort (which acts as the central transfer hub), and a shared stop for Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts. Each station is conveniently within a short walk of a bus stop. Although I haven’t measured the distances precisely, I’d say the shortest walk is at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The Skyliner operates with three lines converging at the Caribbean Beach transfer station. If I were planning my ideal Skyliner journey, I’d suggest starting with a bus ride to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. From there, you can take a direct gondola ride to the Caribbean Beach transfer station. Once you arrive, you’ll need to disembark and switch lines. I’d recommend heading to the Epcot line, which offers the most interesting route. Along the way, you’ll stop at Disney’s Riviera Resort and experience the unique “turn” towards Epcot.
In my dream scenario, I’d step off at Epcot and make my way to
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at
Disney’s Beach Club Resort. I’ve got a real soft spot for their chocolate shakes! Afterward, I’d return to the Skyliner and ride back to the hub. From there, I’d hop onto the line serving Pop Century and Art of Animation. While at that stop, I’d take a moment to admire
The Big Blue Pool, the largest resort pool at Walt Disney World.
Enjoy your magical journey on the Skyliner – it’s truly an unforgettable experience!
