Bright Suns, Blake! You've truly found your fellow Jedi here at planDisney. Thank the maker!
It sounds like you were able to build your own astromech unit at
Droid Depot when visiting
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! Every galactic adventurer needs their own little droid friend, especially when you're helping the Resistance fight the First Order. But I'm so sorry to hear that your droid has experienced some damage! It's clear he's been on the receiving end of a Stormtrooper's blaster and I'd love to help him get back in working order.
Blake, I'd first recommend that you head to the
Droid Depot page. Here, scroll down until you see the Instruction Manuals for both BB-Series and R-Series Units. Click the instruction manual for your droid to see if this gives you more information on how to click your unit back together again. For example, if you have a BB-Series Unit whose body has split in half, you may just need to align the body unit and click it back into place. If you need more assistance after troubleshooting with the Instruction Manuals, my next best tip would be to reach out to
Merchandise Guest Services (don't worry, they're part of the Resistance!). You can also send them an email at
merchandise.guest.services@disneyparks.com. If you do, try to provide as much information as you can, including your receipt, the date you visited Droid Depot, and any images or additional information you can give them about the problem. They'll be glad to listen to your situation and help you with any next steps that may be available to you.
Once your droid is up and running again, be sure to take some time to download the
Droid Depot app. You'll be able to create virtual paths around your home, play games with your droid, and even program it to dance to music by DJ R3X!
If you have any other questions, please send another transmission our way. May the Force be with you!
'Til the Spires!
