Which buildings at POR and POFQ have River view rooms? Do the preferred rooms have River View? Which resort would you recommend? Would you prefer POFQ,POR, or AOA Finding Nemo Suite? What are the rates for these rooms in early May (Sunday-Thursday Night)?

Welcome back, Nicholas! I am going to divide your answer up by resort so I can help you understand each one better. Please understand that the buildings I mention for each booking category can change at any time, but these are general areas you may expect to be placed during your stay. Walt Disney World Resort has not released 2019 room pricing yet, so I will include this year's prices to get an idea of what you may pay for your stay next year. Keep an eye open for any Special Offers that include your travel dates!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside: River View rooms are usually found in Magnolia Bend buildings 80 and 85 and Alligator Bayou buildings 14, 27, and 38. If you booked a Royal Guest Room with River View, those are in buildings 90 and 95. Some of the Preferred rooms are in the same building as River View rooms; however, you cannot book a room that is classified as River View and Preferred. In my experience, the ones that are Preferred View are not facing the Sassagoula River. The rooms at this resort were priced this year as follows - River View around $330/night, Preferred Room around $320, and Royal Guest Room with River View around $340/night.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter: River View rooms are usually in buildings 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7. There is not a Preferred booking category, as all amenities are such a short walk away. The River View rooms at this resort were just under $300/night this year.

Given the choice between these two resorts, I prefer French Quarter Resort for its small size. You can always walk or ride the Sassagoula River Cruise to Riverside Resort to enjoy its amenities. However, comparing these resorts to Disney's Art of Animation Resort, I would choose the latter for the size and extra space of the Family Suites.

Please feel free to stop by again if you have any other questions about these resorts, Nicholas!
