Hi. We are building a lightsabre at Savis workshop. We then go on a disney cruise and need to know if we can take it on board. Disney cruise says 'no shop bought lightsabres' but I am wondering if this relates to the larger pre built one

Ahoy there, Gavin, and welcome aboard!

Your Disney Cruise Line adventure is literally just weeks away, and that's so exciting! And it looks like you'll be combining your vacation with a visit to Walt Disney World. That gives you the best of two amazingly magical worlds.

There are options here, Gavin. First, you are permitted to bring your lightsaber onboard your Disney Cruise ship. If you check the list of prohibited items, you'll see an exception is made for store-bought light sabers, which your Savi's Workshop lightsaber is. It's under the Toy Exceptions list, so you're good to go there. I myself saw several Savi's lightsabers on a Star Wars Day at Sea cruise.

Another option is to have your lightsaber shipped home for you. Once you've built your lightsaber and shown it off to everyone, you can walk over to Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. They can get your lightsaber safely packed and shipped to you back in the UK.

I hope you have an amazing vacation, both with your stop at Batuu at Disney's Hollywood Studios and on your high seas adventure.
