What building is the best choice to ask for at the Pop Century? Also wondering, just booked a trip for Easter 2010, were we crazy to go at this time? What are the crowds and weather like, only time we could go. Thanks!

    Hi Amanda,

I never think anyone is crazy for booking a Disney World vacation. Of course there are better times to travel to the Happiest Place on Earth than Easter, but you will still have a fantastic time.

We have visited over a number of holidays including Easter and while the crowds will be close, if not at capacity, thereĀ are still plenty of chances to enjoy all your Disney favorites. Just remember to plan for the crowds. Make your dining reservations in advance as soon as your booking window opens by calling 407-939-3463. Table services locations will fill fast so I suggest booking them quickly. When the parks are most crowded we find the table locations faster than the counter service, since the lines at the counter locations are often very long.

Keep your list of must do's short. If time allows you can always add more, but by hitting your favorites first no one will be disappointed. Be sure to purchase the park hopper option on your pass. This option allows guests to move from one park to another on the same day. This is a great plus when you find one park is getting very crowded, you can head to another and not only hope for smaller crowds but change the scenery to keep the exhaustion level at a minimum. Remember prime locations for the most popular shows, parades and firework shows will go quickly is if that is important to you grab your spot early and sit and relax.

Our preferred location at Pop Century are the Classic Years (50', 60's or 70's), with the first choice specifically the 60's. These locations are closest to the pools, food and transportation while the 60 B's overlooks the lakeĀ  and is a quieter area than those right by the pool or playground. You will also find rooms on the second and third floors are quieter than those on ground level, if you do not mind the steps.

Wishing you the perfect room and a magical stay!
