Welcome to planDisney, Karolina. It's wonderful that you've brought your question to us so we can get you the best answer!
Strollers can be a lifesaver at the
Walt Disney World Resort. While I don't have children myself, I
have traveled with my niece and nephew to the resort when their little legs and feet just couldn't keep up with the amount of walking. I have a distinct memory of my niece falling asleep in her stroller during the
nighttime spectacular at
EPCOT and then having to carry her onto a
Walt Disney World Bus since we had to fold it up before getting on. It definitely provided some motivation to work on my arm muscles afterward!
According to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, any "trailer-like object that is pushed, pulled or towed by an Electric Conveyance Vehicle, wheelchair, stroller, or person" is prohibited. This would include a BuggyBoard or similar device. Also, it's good to note that the stroller you are using cannot be greater than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length, and stroller wagons are also prohibited.
Always remember that there are
stroller rentals (subject to availability) at all of the theme parks. And the best part about it is if you have a
theme park ticket with the
Park Hopper Option, you can keep your receipt, bring back the stroller before exiting one park, and then show your receipt at the next park and pick up a new one (subject to availability) without paying another penny! It's really so easy and convenient. For more tips for vacationing with young children at the resort,
check out some of the advice and videos from my friends Kaitlin P. and Elizabeth S. These lovely ladies have some great advice to make your vacation as magical as it can possibly be...and that's because they're pretty magical themselves!
Karolina, I hope you have a wonderful vacation at the resort.
Please reach out again if you have any other questions. And both
Kaitlin and
Elizabeth would be happy to help as well!
Always let your conscience be your guide,
Matt
