Hi there, Christopher, and welcome to planDisney!
When you have little ones in tow, you’ll need a solid game plan. You’ve come to the right place, Christopher. As a mom of two little ones, I’m just your gal to help you. You are going to love the plethora of options available to you at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Let’s get into it!
First, let’s talk about the
ways to get from Point A to Point B between and beyond the theme parks. Bus transportation is complimentary during your stay at Walt Disney World Resort. If your kiddos still use car seats, they will not have to use them on the buses. But you will have to fold down their strollers before boarding.
In fact, when you’re using most transportation around property, you’ll want to have a plan of action to pack up your kids’ gear. This includes when you’re using the paid
Minnie Van Service (via the Lyft app). By the way, these cute polka-dotted vans include two car seats. Very convenient!
Christopher, you’ll love to hear that when using the Disney Monorail,
Disney Skyliner, and some watercraft, you will not have to fold strollers. Simply wait for the Cast Members to give you green light to board and scoot your kids’ rides right onto the vehicle.
Speaking of strollers, regardless if you have a newborn or a slightly older kiddo like mine, these are going to come in handy. Even if your child has tons of energy and can walk all day, you’ll want them to have a place to rest, especially if you don’t take a midday break at a nearby Resort hotel. You can either rent a single or double stroller (first come, first served) at the theme parks or
Disney Springs, or you can bring your own from home. For my family, it’s a must-have, and it’s the fastest way to transport little ones around the parks.
If you have any other questions about your upcoming adventure with your littles, please
give us a holler here at planDisney. I can’t wait for you to experience the Resort through your tiny Mouseketeers’ eyes!
Magic always,
LeAndra
