Hey Howdy Hey Meridith,
Welcome back to planDisney. You have definitely picked a topic that our family is pretty knowledgeable in. As a mom of very tall, always hungry, young men, the best dining options are a big part of our
Walt Disney World Resort planning.
We are huge fans of character dining as we love having the ability to meet and interact with our favorite Disney pals while enjoying a delicious meal and more time to interact with the characters. And the only thing better than a fun
character dining option, is one that offers my hungry clan an all you can eat buffet. The great news is most character dining options feature a buffet as the dining option.
One of the most popular character dining experiences is Chef Mickey's. This restaurant, located inside Disney's Contemporary Resort, offers Guests the opportunity to hang with Mickey Mouse and his fabulous friends while munching on a breakfast or dinner buffet. If you prefer to spend time with friends from the Hundred Acre Woods and have a rumbly in your tumbly, you will want to visit The Crystal Palace. This character experience at Magic Kingdom offers a buffet selection while visiting with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet. This is one of our favorite character buffet options. And if you happen to be heading over to Disney's Animal Kingdom, you will want to stop in and see Donald Duck. He is all decked out in his safari best and ready to visit with Guests over a buffet at Tusker House.
As a reminder,
advanced dining reservations are always recommended as these locations are quite popular and walk up options are rarely available. I hope this helps you find your perfect dining spot. If I can help with any additional questions, I hope you will stop back and
see me.
T-T-F-N (Ta-Ta for now),
Margaret
