    I will be going to the brow derby for the 1st time next month and was wondering about the grapefruit cake. typically I dont like cream chese icing but I do love grapefruit. is it a 50/50 shot ill like it? or is it just that good I wont be bothered by it.

    Hollywood Brown Derby is a restaraunt dear to my heart. The Moms Panel has shared some delicious meals and great Disney memories there and we return when we can. There are a number of delicious menu options and of course, the restaraunt is known for it's Cobb Salad and Grapefruit Cake.

    I have to admit, I am not a huge cream cheese fan either but find the taste of cream cheese subtle given the grapefruit mixed in. It is a very moist dessert with a refreshing tartness to it and the grapefruit is enough to overtake the cream cheese taste in my opinion. While it is impossible to know what your taste buds will think, it is a favorite to many and something I return any chance I can. The slice is quite large, so if you are concerned you may not care for it, consider sharing a piece with one of your dinner partners.
