A warm welcome to you, Mindy! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question, we are glad to help!
I spoke to a Cast Member about bringing freeze-dried food into the theme parks and getting hot water from a quick-service location to reconstitute, and Cast Member Gretchen Marie said this is perfectly okay! The only thing Cast Members cannot do is heat, or reheat food in a device such as a microwave. Make sure your food is not packed in glass containers, as this is also
not permitted. If you have any dietary requests, you can email the Special Dietary team at
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com ahead of your visit.
I know you plan on bringing food into the parks, but don't forget to check out all the snack opportunities at Walt Disney World Resort! Your visit will coincide with my favorite festival, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. This springtime event features Outdoor Kitchens that create some of the freshest, and most delicious meals. If you are in the mood for a yummy snack, stop by
Aloha Isle in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom for a classic DOLE Whip, and you can also find them at
Tamu Tamu Refreshments at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. To keep up with all the yummiest food options at Walt Disney World, check out the
Foodie Guides by Disney Eats on the Disney Parks Blog.
Mindy, I hope all of this information helps you today! Thank you for your question again, and I hope your visit to Walt Disney World is full of magic, pixie dust, and fun!
Magic Awaits,
Frances
