Welcome to planDisney, Randal!
I am so excited to answer your question. My son's first
Walt Disney World Resort vacation was when he was three months old, and we also stayed at our
Disney Vacation Club Home Resort,
Disney's BoardWalk Villas. Fast forward nine years, and I look back on almost a decade of watching my Mousketeer go through each age and stage with Walt Disney World Resort as a backdrop. They are some of my most precious moments. You and your little one are going to enjoy a lifetime of memories!
I completely understand all the equipment and specialty products required to travel with our smallest cubs. I spoke with a Cast Member who informed me that the laundry detergent provided in a 1-Bedroom Villa at Disney's BoardWalk Villas is currently a box of Tide Original Powder. We stayed at Disney's Boardwalk Villas last February, and I can confirm this was the detergent we had in our 2-Bedroom Villa. This is subject to change and can vary between powder and liquid options. Depending on your detergent preferences for your son, it might be best to bring a small container of the laundry detergent you know works well for him. I still recall bringing specialty dish soap for cleaning bottles everywhere we traveled. Another option would be to have a grocery delivery order placed with the specific detergent included. We have used Instacart or Amazon Prime in the past, and they will deliver to
Bell Services at the Front Desk. Just make sure to use the Resort's main entrance address with delivery to the Guest's name on the reservation. Quick tip, when you are visiting the theme parks make sure to check out the
Baby Care Centers. They offer a quiet place for feeding, changing, or even just a break.
Thank you for visiting planDisney. I hope you enjoy every single second of this adventure with your son. If there is any way I can offer additional advice, please feel free to send me a question!
See ya real soon!
