Ahoy Jessica!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad that you sailed by today! How fun that you will be taking an adults only Disney Cruise. My husband and I sailed for the first time without our little ones last summer on the Disney Dream and it was such a different experience. We are trying to plan another one (but don't tell the kids)!
Vanellope's Sweets and Treats is one of my first stops each time we step aboard the Disney Dream - whether the littles are with us or not. I love to sit and have my racecar sundae on embarkation day! I am also a HUGE fan of the macarons the offer and always buy a sleeve to enjoy during my cruise. Since these sweet treats, like the others offered in the case at Vanellope's, are sold individually, they need to be consumed while onboard. You are able to bring any of the prepackaged, sealed treats offered onboard off the ship as a souvenir for your kids instead.
A fun way to bring some treats home for your little ones is looking for sweet treats specific to your ports of call. I like to grab something unique (prepackaged and sealed of course!) at the local straw markets or shops to give them a little taste of the places we visit.
Don't forget to take advantage of all the adults exclusive areas while you are on your kid-free sailing! I love enjoying a post-show cocktail at the
Skyline Lounge and watch the view change. Be sure to check out all the
adults exclusive fun onboard!
Enjoy making memories! Angie
