We are bringing our 2 yr old son to WDW for the first time this Aug. Will he be allowed to sit on our laps on the rides, or does he need to actually sit on the seat independently? He is capable of sitting alone, but sometimes feels more secure on our laps

    Hi Christina,

It's up to the individual cast member attendant at the start of each attraction, but in my experience your son will be able sit on your lap on most of the rides he is tall enough to go on. When I visited Walt Disney World when my daughters were preschoolers, I often kept them on my lap simply so that they could see better.

Have a great time introducing your son to Walt Disney World. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
