I am bringing my 4 year old son to Disney in March. I've been looking at all the different ear hats they have to buy...can anyone tell me if the Avengers, Buzz Lightyear, or Toy Story Alien would fit a 4 year old?

Hi, Katie! Thanks for dropping in today with your intergalactic emergency! Okay, it's not an emergency, but we need to help your superhero get fitted for his out of this world visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Themed ear hats are the perfect way to show where your allegiance lies. My daughters have ear hats and ear headbands to match just about every outfit they own. They firmly believe one should never be without a great pair of ears.

I dig some digging and see that themed ear hats come in three different sizes: infant, youth, and adult. When measuring around the brim, the infant ones measure 20 inches, the youth measures 21 inches, and the adult size measures 22 inches. The ones you mention are usually adult sized. Depending on the size of your son, the adult size could fit him well enough to make it work. My older daughter was able to easily wear her ears at a very young age. Each ear hair does come with an elastic chin strap to help secure it. That chin strap helped my younger daughter flip her fins as Princess Ariel for her fourth birthday. I also brought along bobby pins. which I highly recommend for helping to keep those new ears properly positioned.

Katie, have fun blasting off to infinity and beyond! Please let us know if you have any other questions for us as you continue to plan your trip.
