Hi Melissa!
Thank you for stopping by the Moms Panel and asking your question! I'm happy to help out with a couple of suggestions!
If it's in the budget, I highly recommend considering staying at one of Walt Disney World's Deluxe Resorts. Not only are these rooms among the largest on property, but they have a hidden benefit: balconies and patios. The extra space on a balcony is a great bonus when trying to enjoy some relaxing time while the kids take an afternoon nap or if they have an earlier bed time. You can use this space to really soak up the resort atmosphere while the kids catch up on their needed rest.
Speaking of rest, another benefit of the Deluxe resorts is location. Since these resorts are closest to the parks, traveling back to the parks for a mid-afternoon nap is so much easier when its just a short walk or boat ride away!
Among the Deluxe resorts, my favorite resort is the
Wilderness Lodge. And, it is even among the lowest priced of this resort category.
If you'd like a resort in the Moderate category,
Port Orleans French Quarter is a great option. Not only are the rooms beautiful, but the resort's compact size is a bonus when you have tired kids that need to head back to a nap. This resort also features boat transportation to Downtown Disney. This is a great option if you'd like to head over for a dinner or some shopping!
I hope these suggestions give you some ideas to think about. Please don't hesitate to let the Moms Panel know if we can help out with any additional trip planning details!
