We are bringing our 3 year old for his first trip & he loves Mickey Mouse. However so far there have not been any openings for Chef Mickey for Oct 1-4. How hard is it to get in if we just went one morning & tried to eat, if we can't get a reservati

Hey Cassie!  Oh I know how frustrating it can be when you can't get that desired ADR.  Okay, here are a few suggestions.  First, call everyday to see if there have been any cancellations at CM, you just never know when your persistence may pay off.  Next when you arrive at WDW, call dining again to check for cancellations and then finally it never hurts to stop by CM and see if they have any openings.  They may very well tell you no, but then again you may get lucky and someone may have cancelled that day.
My next question is have you had looked into O'Hana as a possibility to dine with Mickey.  He is there along with Stich and Pluto, and this is one of my girls' favorites as they too are big Mickey fans.  Other suggestions for dining with Mickey include Mickey's Backyard Barbecue and Garden Grill at Epcot.
I hope these suggestions help, and I will keep my fingers crossed that your son is able to dine with Mickey.  Thanks again for the great question and for coming to the Mom's Panel.
