We will be bringing my 2 year old to Disney. I know he isn’t required to have a ticket but can I still purchase and let him wear a magic band? It’s my kids Christmas presents so I wanted to wrap them each up a magic band for the reveal.

Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer! I’m so excited to know that you’re busy planning your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort and you’re making it a Christmas gift for your kids. That is an awesome idea!

You can absolutely buy a MagicBand for your Mouseketeer, so he feels like part of the group! There are so many cute designs on shopDisney, I’m sure you will find something he loves. The best part is, you can hold on to the band after this upcoming visit in February, and he can use it on any other visit, when a theme park ticket is linked to it.

My daughter still has a special Minnie Mouse band my husband bought her at the Magic Kingdom Park when she was two. She loves it! When it's not being used at the parks, she's using it as an accessory.

Your son will be Mickey’s special guest in February, so you’re right about not having to purchase a ticket for him. There are also so many attractions he can enjoy with the whole family at the theme parks. I suggest taking a look at this list of attractions for guests of all ages. He is just going to have a blast!

Jennifer, I hope I’ve been helpful. Please feel free to come back to visit us if you have any more planning questions. It’s always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next magical visit!
