Hi, we are bringing a 1 year old on our cruise in November. He currently drinks 3 bottles of milk a day, are you allowed to bring milk onto the ship?

    Hi there Morgan Love,

Thanks for sailing by with a question for us. We're happy to help!

I think you've made a great choice in selecting a Disney Cruise Line sailing for your upcoming vacation. Your little one will be delighted by the Character encounters and you'll be dazzled by the delicious food and spectacular entertainment each night of your voyage. I know traveling with little ones can seem daunting but rest assured you'll be in excellent hands.

If your child has a dietary restriction you can bring a cooler of his milk onboard with you. Coolers no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 12″ are permitted as carry-on luggage for storing medication, baby food, and non-perishable items in their original unopened packaging. If your little one isn't restricted by dietary concerns you'll be happy to know that milk is available at any of the Rotational Dining restaurants as well as through complimentary room service. Just bring along your bottles and the helpful Crew Members on board will be sure your little sailor has milk available whenever he needs it. You can also request a bottle warmer or sterilizer through Guest Services in addition to having hot water delivered to your stateroom via room service around the clock.

If you haven't already done so, you can also register your little one for timeslots at “it’s a small world” nursery! These slots do fill up quickly but you can inquire about openings once on board. This would allow you to let your sweet sailor play or rest while you enjoy adult-exclusive areas of the ship like Quiet Cove Pool. There's so much to enjoy at any age you'll also want to be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App in advance of your sailing to easily keep track of the activity schedule once aboard.

If we can answer any additional questions as you countdown to your voyage please stop back and let us know.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
