I am bringing two grandchildren with me this year to WDW. Both are under the age of two. Are there attractions such as Disney's Philharmagic, the Muppet Adventure, or the Animal Kingdom Bug's life adventure that would be off limits to children under two?

    Hi Larry,

None of those attractions are closed to younger children.  Depending on the personality of your grandkids you might want to preview them yourself before having the kids join you, as some feel that It's Tough to be a Bug is too intense.  My own daughters (1, 3 & 5) love it and have never been frightened, but the special effects overwhelm some children.  Mickey's Philharmagic is one of my girls' favorite attractions and we never miss it!

I haven't checked on those three specifically, but I have used youtube.com to preview other rides as a guideline.  If you haven't been in these attractions before you might be able to watch them there, and/or you could show them to your grandchildren to prepare them for what they will be seeing.  I used this trick before my oldest daughter was able to ride many of the 'big girl' rides, and watching the tape of the ride and knowing what she would be seeing worked magic with her.
