We are bringing my son to WDW for his birthday during MNSSHP & staying at art of animation. I have a reservation in Hollywood studios & was wondering how long a bus ride would take from our resort to the park?

Hi, Kourtney! A fall visit to Walt Disney World Resort is a spooktacular way to celebrate a birthday. My family has made such wonderful memories over the years celebrating our birthdays in the parks, as well as many unbirthdays! Be sure to stop by the check-in area at Disney's Art of Animation Resort as you arrive or Guest Services in any park to pick up a birthday celebration button for your son so everyone can help him celebrate his special day.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is positioned in a great location, making for quick trips to the theme parks. In our experience, from the time we were on the magical Disney motorcoach, rides over to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot have been around 15 minutes. When traveling to Disney's Animal Kingdom, we usually cruised along for maybe just a couple of minutes longer. Your ride to Magic Kingdom Park for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party may be just a tad over 20 minutes. When planning your travel to the parks for Advance Dining Reservations, you will definitely want to give yourself plenty of extra time for possible waits at the bus stops, time to have your bags checked as you enter the parks, and time to walk to your destination. We always try to leave our Resort hotel at least one hour or more before the time of our Advance Dining Reservation.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Kourtney, and please let us know if you think of any other questions as you continue to plan your celebration!
