I am bringing my sister in law to disney iOn Oct 9th she will be celebrating her 60th bday while we are there. We are not staying in the park but are going to the parks. Any suggestions of any surprises I can do for and best places for a great bday dinner

    Hey Kathi!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! You have picked great time of year to visit Walt Disney World. There are some great events going on while you are there such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival. Both events are not to be missed.

There are also many special ways to celebrate your sister-in-law's birthday at Walt Disney World. Here are some ideas for you:
    • No birthday is complete without a birthday cake. Give the Cake Hotline a call 48 hours in advanced to order a custom cake for your celebration. Their number is (407) 827-2253.
    • I can't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday dinner than 'Ohana. It is located in Disney's Polynesian Resort. If you time your reservation just right you can have a fabulous dinner followed by watching Wishes fireworks right from your seat. They even pipe in the Wishes soundtrack for your entertainment.

Don't forget to stop by Guest Services and pick up a free "Happy Birthday" or "I'm Celebrating" button so everyone knows she is celebrating a big occasion.

I hope this helps your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical Disney vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
