Hi, Cierra, and welcome back to planDisney! Oh, boy, your trip is so close now, and I'm delighted to learn you're planning to visit
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Thanks for being a friend to the environment and asking your question about reusable utensils. Let's cut to the chase and get right into it.
Taking a look at the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, I don't see plastic reusable utensils on the prohibited list. The closest thing I see on the list is, "Objects or toys that appear to be firearms or weapons." So, as long as your cutlery doesn't look like something that can be construed to be a weapon, your items should be allowed. In fact, I've even seen reusable utensils being sold in merchandise stores in the past. I can't confirm they're currently being sold, but that should further indicate that they are allowed. Please understand that all bags are subject to inspection at the entrance to each Disney Theme Park, and the final decision on what's allowed is up to security. Policies are in place for the safety and comfort of Guests and Cast Members, and anything that is considered a risk may not be permitted.
While you're visiting the Flower & Garden Festival and enjoying the food and beverage offerings from the
Outdoor Kitchens, take some time to admire the
beautiful topiaries, too. Or, catch a show from the
Garden Rocks Concert Series. For guaranteed seating, consider taking advantage of the
Garden Rocks Dining Packages. This is such a gorgeous festival, and I've only scratched the surface of what's available.
Cierra, I hope this has been helpful and that you have a great time at the festival. If you have any other planning questions, please visit us again.
Let your dreams guide you!
