Welcome aboard, Gina!
My family and I have sailed with
Disney Cruise Line all around the world, but most often in the
Caribbean, so I know what magical adventures await you there! Disney offers so many amazing options for
Port Adventures in every single port of call. The hardest part for us is choosing which one to experience each time!
There are age restrictions on Port Adventures, so yes, as you mentioned, your one year-old is welcome to join you on any of the adventures with an "All Ages" listing or those carrying a "0-2 year" pricing listing. Some of them do not include a cost for those littlest sailors, but do allow them, so you'll see that reflected in the descriptions as "$0.00 (ages 0-2)". However, those with only older age ranges listed do not allow younger guests to participate. The booking system online will only allow you to book guests that fall into the appropriate age range at the time of sailing.
The good news is that if you come across an adventure that the rest of your family absolutely must experience, you can pre-book a few hours for your one year-old in
It's A Small World Nursery while the rest of you head to shore for the adventure. Your little one will be in great hands with the counselors in the nursery to be entertained, engaged and well taken care of while you're gone. So, keep that in mind if you see an adventure you really don't want to miss that has an older age range. But, there are so many that are perfect for all ages, I'm sure you'll also find others that your whole family can enjoy together, Gina.
Have fun planning!
