Bringing 2 old MB's per person. Do I need to link all of them to My Disney Experience or will linking one band link all of them?

Welcome back to planDisney, Jaynee! I see that you are planning a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort for May. You and your family are going to have an amazing visit! Thanks for sending us your planning question.

I do the very same thing when I visit with my family. I always bring two MagicBands per family member, so they can pick and choose. It’s also a good idea to have an extra band in case one of them is temporarily misplaced, which can happen when you have small children with you!

If the bands you are bringing with you have already been used and have been linked to a guest in your travel party on your My Disney Experience account, there’s no need to link them again. They will be ready to use as long as a valid theme park ticket is linked to that guest. All done!

Before your visit, it’s important to make Disney Park Pass reservations for everyone in your group. It’s an easy new step we all need to take when planning our visits.

Jaynee, I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to plan your Springtime visit. We’re always here to help if you need us, so don’t hesitate to come back to see us!

    Have a magical visit!
