I am bringing my 14 month old to Disney world next week, and we are staying at the all-star movies resort. He can barely walk. Should I bring my own umbrella stroller or rent one from the parks? I am worried about getting to the parks without one.

BRING YOUR OWN STROLLER! Sorry for shouting, but I really mean it :-)

The Disney strollers cannot leave the parks. You will absolutely want to have a stroller at other times during your WDW vacation. The Disney hotels are large. Depending on where you're staying it could be as long as a ten minute walk from the hotel bus stop back to your room. The last thing I want to do at the end of day of park touring is carry a hot, cranky toddler for ten minutes. You'll also be walking from the parks to the transportation areas there. And within your resort you'll be going from your room to the pool and the restaurants. At each of these points, it is much easier to push your child than to carry him. You will also save a considerable amount of money by bringing your own stroller.

I really can't say enough how much happier I think that both you and your son will be if you have your own wheels.

    Have a great trip!
