    We're bringing our little girls (7 & 2) to DW from 12/29-1/4 this year. I'd like to plan what parks we'll do, but can't find much on the specific holiday events yet. How long do decorations & special events last past Christmas?

    Hi Kate,

    My family has been blessed to be at Walt Disney World during this special holiday week! We were just there two years ago with our best friends and had an amazing trip!

    All of the parks and the resorts will be decorated for the holidays. I highly recommend dining at the resorts during your vacation to experience the decorations. The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has a giant gingerbread house in the lobby.

    Epcot is my favorite park because each of the 11 countries has a different event on how they celebrate during the winter months. There is story telling or shows at each country.

    You will definitely find holiday magic until at least January 2 as it will take a while to take down all of the magic. Your best for information now is on the holidays page as well as following the Disney Parks Blog. Plus looking at questions on the Disney Parks Moms Panel site.
