We are bringing our kids and granddaughters who are 3, 3 and 7 to disney, can someone recommend if we should do a character breakfast and if so which one/

You should absolutely take your family to a character breakfast. Character dining is always one of the highlights of a Disney vacation for young children. When my kids were 3 and 7 we would do at least one (and often two) character meals every day.

As for which meal is right for you, the answer depends a bit on the personalities and interests of the children. If the girls are princess fans, then there's no better place than Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom. A close runner-up is the Princess Storybook meal in the Akershus at the Norway pavilion of Epcot. If princesses aren't their thing, then you have many other options. Since you're traveling with preschoolers, who are notorious for picky eating and food "phases," I'd recommend a buffet meal, so that everyone can choose exactly what they want. Some options are:

    - Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom. Features Winnie the Pooh and friends.
    - Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort. The classic character meal featuring classic Disney characters.
    - Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club Resort. Minnie and her pals are here. Great if you're staying in the Epcot resorts area.
    - Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom. Donald Duck is the man in charge. Has traditional American food options as well as some truly unique and delicious African dishes for the more adventurous members of your party.

I'm sure there's something here to please everyone. I hope you all have a great trip.
