We are bringing the kids for the first time in Oct.'09. Can't wait!! Have they ever offerred free dining at the end of Oct?

    Hi Kim,

Can't say I blame you, my excitment level is always at high when it comes to a pending Disney World trip! October is a fantastic month to visit as the crowds are typically small and the weather is usually beautiful, warm with little humidity. The fall decorations and special Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party are amazing and you will be able to enjoy Epcot's Food and Wine Festival. Mmmm, we love eating our way around the world!

Disney's free dining promotion is a great deal and we try and take advantage of it every year. Previously the dates for the promotion usually run from late August until late September. Although the end of October has not been part of the promotion in the past, it could be added. There has been no official announcement yet if the promotion is even returning (although my bet is on yes given its popularity) and if it is returning, what the travel dates would be. The announcement is often made around the beginning of April so I would check www.disneyworld.com in the next few weeks to see if there is any word.

Good luck, hope those October dates come thru for you. Have an amazing first trip!
