Hi Stephanie,
I'd love to help you plan your
Grand Adventure. I am in the midst of planning my own with my six year old grandson. I wish I had unlimited space to tell you all there is to do, but I'm going to refer you back to some of the
answers we have previously provided to parents and grandparents traveling with Kids 5-10. Also, see this
link for rides and attractions geared to kids of this age. These will give you a great jumping off point as you narrow down your plans for this trip.
The weather in Orlando is as unpredictable as everywhere else, but the average highs are is the low 70's, with the average lows in the high 40's. I've been there in February where we have been able to swim and where we've had to wear jackets, so my best advice is to layer your clothing. If the day warms up, you can remove your jacket or sweater and still be comfortable.
Scooter or ECV
rentals are available at all theme parks at Guest Services. Current price is $50.00 per day with a $20.00 refundable deposit. Additional information is in the link provided.
I'm not sure if the last part of your question is referencing transportation for your granddaughter. If so, she really won't need a stroller. I have found that the little kids get around just fine as long as you take occasional rest breaks throughout the day.
As you plan your trip, we'll be here to help you along the way, so please visit us often.
Be Magical,
Leanne T.
