I am bringing my family to wdw end of 5/2012. There are 7 adults & 5 kids (infant -8yrs) we have never been. We will be staying 5 days &4 night. I want the most for my money. Where is the best place to stay for first timers on a budget?

Hi, Kim!  This sounds like a great vacation shaping up!  I love it when the whole gang travels together!

There are a few ways that you can go, especially if everyone gets along.  For the truly budget conscious, I would say you should consider a family suite.  Disney's brand new Art of Animation resort is set to begin opening in May, so you could be one of the first guests to stay in these family oriented suites.  You will have a separate master bedroom, and multiple convertible options in the living area, giving you sleeping accommodations for six people.  The suites also include two full bathrooms, which help expedite showers in the morning, You'll also have a kitchenette area, with microwave and mini-fridge.  The suites opening in May are the Finding Nemo themed suites, and they are SO cute!  Also available in this same price range are the All Star Music family suites, which have a similar layout and can also accommodate six guests.

Another option I'd recommend on a budget are the cabins at Fort Wilderness.  This is "camping" at its best, with a fully appointed cabin that includes all the comforts of home (including a full kitchen).  You'll have sleeping accommodations for six and a deck, picnic table, and charcoal grill.  This is a little bit pricier than the family suites, but you may be able to keep the budget under control by doing some of your own cooking.

I hope this helps get your planning started!
