Howdy David!
I bet your family is pumped to visit
Walt Disney World in April! April is a wonderful time of year to visit! The weather is absolutely gorgeous and you can enjoy warm enough weather to take a dip in the pool without the humidity of late summer. You can also enjoy the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! Make sure to check out the awesome topiary displays,
outdoor kitchens, and the
Garden Rocks Concert Series!
You can begin booking your
advanced dining reservations 60 days in advance. I see that you will arrive on Sunday, April 17, which means that you can begin making your advanced dining reservations on Wednesday, February 16. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can book your advanced dining reservations for your entire stay (up to a 10-day stay) up to 60 days in advance of your check-in date.
Walt Disney World is operating on a
phased reopening plan, which means that some dining experiences may be modified or unavailable. At the current time, the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is temporarily unavailable. There is not a reopening date set yet, but keep an eye out on the
Disney Parks Blog for an update on new dining experiences coming available. There is a chance that this experience will become available prior to your trip, but that is unknown at the current time.
There are some other great dining experiences I would like to suggest though. If you are staying at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, check out
Trail's End. Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue and Trail's End share a kitchen, so the food is similar. If you would like entertainment along with your meal, consider booking a character dining experience, such as Minnie's Seasonal Dining at
Hollywood & Vine.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
