Hello Ammie,
Oh my word! I love first visits! Planning a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth during Halloween Time is very exciting. The Disneyland Resort has beautiful themed decor all over.
Be sure to stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or at Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park to get your family their free ‘First Visit’ button to wear during your vacation; Cast Members that see you all in the parks will be sure to send welcome wishes all day.
If you love Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas then you will love The Haunted Mansion, because this attraction gets filled with Jack and all his Halloween Town residents to become The Haunted Mansion Holiday. Attending Mickey’s Halloween Party is a must-do. During the party, you’ll have the opportunity to Trick or Treat in Disneyland Park, enjoy the ghoulish "Halloween Screams" fireworks, and more. This party does require a separate Special Event ticket for admission. You will want to keep an eye on the
Disneyland website and the Disney Parks Blog for the spook-tacular announcement. This is usually posted around mid July to early August (but this may vary), the announcement should include details like which select nights the party will be held on and when you can purchase tickets. Be sure to purchase your tickets once the option is available.
I hope this helps you. Please feel free to visit us again with any other questions you may have.
Wishing you 999 Happy Haunts!
~ Lynette
