We're bringing our (almost) 3 yr old and 6 month old to Magic Kingdom. Is there another park that you would recommend for these ages? Thanks!

    Chris,

For the 3 year old I think that there are two other parks that will have some compelling entertainment value. First, there is the Animal Kingdom. If your child is at all like my 3 1/2 year old, they love animals and have become big fans of their local zoo. This park offers some great animal viewing, some creative and well-designed playground areas, and an overall atmosphere that really wows them.

Hollywood Studios may also work, if they have become Playhouse Disney fans. Little Einsteins, JoJo, Handy Manny, and many others make regular stops here, either in attractions, restaurants, or in the public walkways. It might not be a full day for you here, but if they like the shows on that channel, they might find some of their favorite 'friends' here.

As for the 6 month old, it is hard to say. Odds are that they won't really know what is going on,  but that doesn't mean that they won't enjoy themselves. The lights and action can really be very captivating for the little ones too!

    Have a magical vacation!
