Hiya, TeShauna! Welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you swam by with this question before you catch some waves at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. I can think of no better place to chill than splashing around in this thrilling water park. That idea is totally awesome!
To stay hydrated and fueled up for a day in the sun, you are most welcome to bring your tumbler and a
small cooler, as long as it is no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. I've always thought it was totally awesome that Walt Disney World Resort allows Guests to bring their own snacks and food into the parks. Treats in my bag have been a lifesaver for a few breakfasts and keeping little Squirts happy in lines. It's swweeeet! Your cooler can carry tasty PB&Js for lunch, but it cannot have loose or dry ice or glass containers. To keep it cool, I recommend reusable ice packs.
If you want to save some room in your cooler, you may want to leave the extra water bottles at home. Did you know you can get free cups of ice water at any quick-serve restaurant to refill your tumbler? You can stop by
Leaning Palms,
Snack Shack or
Typhoon Tilly's and simply ask for a cup. It totally rocks!
If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can save space in your bags and money in your wallet with free towels for your use at Typhoon Lagoon. If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World hotel, you can bring your own towels or shell out a bit to rent them at the water park.
I hope you have a swell time! If you have any other questions, just give us a wave at
planDisney.
Hang Ten, Awesome Dude!
