Can i bring a wheel chair that can also be a walker into Disney world parks

    Hey there, Lucille!

I'm so excited to welcome you to planDisney! Can you believe it? Your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is only one week away...how amazing is that?! That definitely calls for a little celebration – HOORAY!! You must be getting so excited as the countdown gets shorter and shorter. And the best part? You're heading there during the holiday season, which is hands down one of the most magical times of the whole year. With all the twinkling lights, festive music, and extra-special touches everywhere you turn, you're in for such a wonderful experience!

It sounds like you're referring to a 2-in-1 walker-wheelchair combo or a 2-in-1 rollator walker. I'm happy to share that both types of mobility devices are allowed in the theme parks. According to the Walt Disney World Property Rules, wheeled mobility devices must have at least three wheels and be able to remain stable and balanced when stopped, unpowered, or unoccupied. Training wheels or other modifications aren't permitted. Devices should be manually or electrically powered, operated at a walking pace, designed for a single rider, and must not exceed 36" (92 cm) in width or 52" (132 cm) in length. I hope this helps clear things up for you.

I'd also love to point you toward a really helpful resource. The Services for Guests with Mobility Needs page offers a wealth of details on mobility accommodations and accessibility throughout Walt Disney World Resort. It breaks down the available options in a clear, easy-to-understand way, making it a great tool as you prepare for your visit.

You can also access this section right in the My Disney Experience app. Just tap "Accessibility & Health Services" on the Home Screen, then scroll down to "Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities." It's perfect for quick, on-the-go guidance while you're in the parks.

I also wanted to give you a quick reminder about Lightning Lane purchases. If you're staying at a Disney Resort, you'll be able to buy them 7 days before your check-in date. Guests staying off-property can make their purchases beginning 3 days before their park visit.

Lucille, I hope this information has been helpful, and you have the most magical trip at the most magical place! If any other questions come up, you're always welcome here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,
