Can I bring water into the parks?

    Hi there, Jim!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing your question to us! I'd be happy to help you with what you are allowed to bring into the Parks.

Disney maintains a list of prohibited items that are allowed through the security checkpoint. I'm happy to report that, unlike an airport security screen, you are allowed to bring your own water into the Parks. As long as they are not in glass containers, you will be allowed through the checkpoint. On hot days, I like to fill an insulated water bottle with ice water which will stay cold throughout the day. If you need a refill, you can ask for a cup of ice water at any food service location or find a Bottle-Filling Station on the Disneyland Mobile App.

Although you cannot interact with them, I'd like to give props to the security dogs who work tirelessly to keep us safe. You'll see them at the beginning of the checkpoint. Remember to stay hydrated especially during the summer season. Will you be visiting the Disneyland Resort soon? If you visit after June 30, you'll be able to catch the debut of "Rogers: The Musical" at the Hyperion Theater in Disney California Adventure. It's going to be a real treat for all Marvel fans!

Jim, I hope you found this helpful. If there are any more planning questions with which we can help, please do not hesitate to reach out to us again!

    Have a Magical Day!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
