Aloha, Vanessa, and welcome to planDisney! See the line where the sky meets the sea? It makes me thirsty! You're so wise to make plans to stay hydrated during your
Walt Disney World Resort visit, so let's look at what you can bring to the theme parks when you arrive today.
According to the
Property Rules, you can bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks into the theme parks as long as they aren't in glass containers. You can even bring along a cooler, but please remember that loose ice isn't allowed. The rules also provide size limits for backpacks and coolers. I want to get a cooler backpack...for my husband to carry, of course!
My tip is to bring along one water bottle per guest and take advantage of the
Water Bottle Refill Stations throughout the theme parks. On your
My Disney Experience mobile app, tap the search icon at the bottom of your screen and type "Water Refill" to see locations near you. You can also ask for complimentary cups of ice water at most Quick Service restaurants. There's nothing as refreshing as cold, clear water on a warm Florida day!
If you're craving something with more taste, my favorite fun drink is the
Frozen Mint Julep Lemonade at Casey's Corner at Magic Kingdom Park. And since the Kentucky Derby is coming up, this would be the perfect sip to celebrate a run for the roses. I always place a
mobile order on my app for this refreshing mocktail.
Vanessa, that horizon line is calling, and you never know how far you'll go. Please stop by
planDisney anytime. You're welcome!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
