Welcome to planDisney, Wendy! Thanks for sending us a great question!
We all know that staying hydrated is one of "Mickey's Golden Rules!" Being a runner, I often travel with a hydration backpack to the Disney Parks. You are welcome to bring yours into either of the Disneyland Resort theme parks, even if it is already filled with water. According to
Disneyland's Property Rules, bags must not exceed 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high, but all the bladder backpacks I've seen fit these parameters.
If you need to refill your pack during the day,
water fountains are conveniently located throughout the Disneyland Resort, and bottle-filling stations are also available in select locations. Check the Disneyland website for a map showing exact locations. Sometimes, I'll even pop into the
Baby Care Center, where they have drinking fountains with cold filtered H20!
Beating the heat during the summer months is also essential.
Mickey's PhilharMagic and
Soarin' Around the World are two of my favorite places to rest in the AC. But if I'm sweltering, I head straight to
Grizzly River Run!
Have a magical time, Wendy!
