Can I bring a vhs to Disneyland for character autograph’s?

Hi Felix! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

I think bringing creative items to have signed by the Characters is a great idea. It probably brings the Characters as much joy as it does you when someone brings something unique and thoughtful into a Meet & Greet experience. My boys have brought handmade things for their favorite Characters to sign, for example, and I think it really enhanced and personalized the exchanges. You've definitely put some thought into this and that's bound to make magic happen.

I say, bring the VHS tape! I checked the permitted items FAQ and there doesn't appear to be anything on the list that would make your VHS fall into the category of not permitted items. I don't see any safety issues with a VHS tape. However, it is always up to the discretion of security what may or may not enter the parks, which is always important to keep in mind. If they look baffled by its inclusion in your bag, tell them you plan on having Characters sign it.

Who are you hoping to meet? You can use the map on the Disneyland mobile app to locate Characters throughout the parks. Just change the selection at the top from Attractions to Characters. It'll bring up Mickey Mouse icons throughout the parks, which you can tap on to see who you'll find in the location and at what times. Some are roaming and some are at Meet & Greet locations. Their appearances are subject to change.

    Have a magical time!
