Can I bring an unopened case of seltzer water on board the cruise?

Hi there, Caitlyn! Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question. I can tell you’re in the home stretch for your Halloween on the High Seas cruise aboard the Disney Magic! The Magic is such a charming ship with a timeless feel, and I think you’ll fall in love with her smaller, more intimate layout.

You’ll be happy to know that yes you can bring an unopened case of seltzer water on board, as long as it’s packed in your carry-on luggage (not checked luggage) and is still in its original, factory-sealed packaging. Just be aware that your carry-on must fit through the security scanner, so it needs to be no larger than 22” high x 14” wide x 9” deep. And since you’ll be boarding with it, you’ll need to keep it with you until your stateroom is ready, so I suggest packing it in something easy to carry.

Once on board, you’ll also find plenty of bubbly options. Soda water is available at the complimentary beverage stations on the pool deck (Deck 9 on the Magic), and you can order carbonated water at bars, lounges, and during dinner service. If you prefer sparkling water like Perrier or S.Pellegrino, those are available for an additional charge. And if you happen to enjoy hard seltzers, you can even pre-purchase those for your stateroom through the “Onboard Gifts” section of the Disney Cruise Line website.

I hope your voyage is absolutely bubbling with excitement, Caitlyn! If you have any other questions before you set sail, you know where to find us.

    Sea ya real soon!
