Can you bring umbrellas into Disneyland?

Hi there, Carol! Thanks for stopping by with your wonderful question.

Whether for rain or sun, umbrellas are allowed at the Disneyland Resort! While it's always good to check the Prohibited Items List before a visit, you should have no problem bringing one in based on the current list. Even recently, umbrellas were sold in the parks on especially blustery days. So, if you need a spare - or want a Disney souvenir - see about purchasing one of the stores throughout the resort. And, Carol, if you no longer want to carry that umbrella, renting a locker is a great way to lighten the load. The best part? They come in several sizes and you set a unique combo that allows you to open and shut the locker for the whole day.

Carol, before your visit, be sure to familiarize yourself with the Disneyland Mobile App. It is the best way to check ride wait times, locate dining options, find water bottle filling stations, and more! One of my favorite features is the car locator because, after a long Disney day, I often forget exactly which row I've parked in. The Car Locator allows you to set the parking structure/location, Character Area, and row. It is super handy!

I hope this information helps, Carol. Please visit planDisney again with any other questions!
