Can you bring a travel steamer on board a cruise?

    Ahoy, Monica!
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question. Like you, I enjoy wearing wrinkle free clothing! I've tried ironing my family's clothing before I pack everything into our suitcases using the rolling method, but I still find plenty of wrinkles once I unpack on the ship. Since travel steamers are not allowed onboard Disney Cruise Line due to safety concerns, you'll need an alternate plan for getting out those pesky wrinkles. My first suggestion is to look into a product called Downy Wrinkle Release. I've used this when traveling, and it has worked out pretty well. Before I found this product, I would hang our clothing items in the bathroom while I showered to help steam out the wrinkles naturally. If you don't mind ironing, there are 24-hour Self-service laundry rooms onboard that have complimentary irons and ironing boards. One final option is to send your items to the Full-Service Laundry through your stateroom host/hostess. A nominal fee per item will be charged to your stateroom account.
It was a pleasure assisting you with your cruise question, Monica! Please let us know if you think of anything else as you continue to plan for a magical vacation aboard Disney Cruise Line!
    Have a wonderful day!
