Should we bring a stroller to WDW? DS will be 5 and hasn't used one since he was 2. We live in the Black Forest and do lots of hiking. We walk daily to pr-school -1 mile.

    Kathleen,

That is a tough one. Often I will tell parents to take a stroller (or rent one) with younger kids, even 5 year olds. But it sounds like your little guy is logging a lot of mileage on his sneakers already, and is probably better prepared than the average child for all the walking that is involved at Walt Disney World.

I would say that you are probably good not taking one. However, keep an eye on his stamina as your vacation proceeds. If you see that he is starting to get tired quickly, consider renting one at the parks. This may help him make it through a long week.

One more quick note about walking at Walt Disney World. You should know that the Animal Kingdom is the largest of the four parks, in terms of overall real estate. So while it may not seem to have as much going on as the Magic Kingdom, there is a lot more walking involved.

    Have a magical vacation!
