I want to bring my son to Disney world for his 9th birthday but I’m not really sure how to book. Can you help me? 3 adults 2 children and one infant (10 months)

    Hi Jessica!

How exciting that you are bringing your son to Walt Disney World for his 9th birthday! Please tell him happy birthday from planDisney!

You can book your vacation on the Walt Disney World website. I will provide you with a few important resources that you can use when booking your vacation. Start with the planning guide, which provides great information on the Walt Disney World parks, resort hotels, and entertainment.

Since you know what dates you want to visit, you can simply plug those into the check-in and check-out dates when searching for a resort hotel. Include the number of adults and children in your party and then click on "Find Resorts." You can then select from a variety of Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. For your family of three adults, two children, and one infant, you will need a room that sleeps at least five adults. I highly suggest Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, which can accommodate up to five adults. There are two queen beds and a day bed, which will fit the five of you and then you can request a Pack-n-Play for the infant.

The Deluxe Villas are also wonderful because you can choose between one and two bedroom villas that have plenty of space for everyone. The villas also include a kitchen, which is especially great with little ones!

Once you choose your resort, you will want to select your park tickets. You can choose between the number of days and if you want to add the Park Hopper Option. After you purchase your tickets, make sure to make a theme park reservation

You can also make advanced dining reservations 60 days in advance. Your nine year old will love Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh at Disney's Magic Kingdom. You can note that you are celebrating a birthday on the reservation and you may even get a special treat, such as a cupcake with a candle, to celebrate. You can also order a cake in advance to be delivered to the restaurant.

When you arrive, make sure to ask for a "Happy Birthday" celebration button. I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
