Hi Nadia,
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! No trip to the Walt Disney World Resort would be complete without thinking about all of the delicious food offerings, so I'd be happy to help you figure out some great snack options!
The good news, Nadia, is that
guests are always welcome to bring their own food and drinks into the parks. So yes, you may bring snacks as well as water bottles, whether they are empty or full. This is super helpful for those with food allergies, picky eaters, or if you're just wanting to have some snacks on hand. My family usually packs something easy and portable for breakfast so that we can head straight to the parks first thing in the morning. We also like to pack a few snacks for the day like granola bars, peanuts, or crackers as well as some water bottles and flavored drink packets to be able to refill our drinks at one of the numerous drinking fountains.
There are
a few restrictions on what can be brought into the park, so just be sure not to pack any glass bottles (with the exception of baby food), food that needs to be heated, or a cooler that's larger than 24" x 15" x 18".
While we love the convenience of packing our own snacks, there are a few snacks that we're sure to never miss in the parks. Having a large family, we find the refillable popcorn bucket to not only taste (and smell!) delicious, but since it can be refilled an unlimited number of times throughout your stay for just a small fee, it's a great bargain. Of course our favorite snacks are anything Mickey shaped, like a Mickey Ice Cream Bar or Mickey Pretzel! Mmm...I'm suddenly feeling hungry.
Enjoy your vacation, Nadia! May it be full of many magical...and delicious...moments!
Missy
