Can I bring sealed packages of a special local chocolate onboard to give as gifts or will they take it away? Also if we bring flameless candles will they be ok or will they take them away as I know it says no candles on the website? Thanks!

    Hi Amanda!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your cruise questions!  It sounds like you have been doing your homework to make sure you have a hassle-free experience with Disney Cruise Line!  You will find delectable local chocolates while visiting the various ports of call and even some Disney themed ones onboard!  I often bring them home as souvenirs for my friends and family, and they are always a big hit!  You will not have any problems bringing them ashore with you when you disembark the ship and make your way through customs.  Just make sure to keep them in a cool space when you travel so they don't melt!

The website does state candles are prohibited, but flameless ones are just fine! Just pack them in your checked luggage so there is not any confusion when you are traveling with them to the port.  I have never thought about bringing these onboard myself, but what a great idea!  I'm sure they will provide the perfect personal touch to your stateroom accommodations!

If you have any other cruise questions, I'd love to help answer them before you set sail!  Just let me know!

    Bon Voyage!
