Hi there, Larry, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you've found us here at planDisney, where my Panelist pals and I are always happy to help our fellow Guests! It sounds like you're just days away from your vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Larry, you'll be happy to know that the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules do not specifically prohibit bringing prescription medications to the Disney Theme Parks or Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Prohibited items include glass containers and loose ice, so you shouldn't have a problem using your containers as long as they're not glass and can be kept cool with an ice pack if needed. In fact, I often carry pain reliever and nausea medication in a ziploc bag in my fanny pack, just in case.
Did you know that each of the four Disney Theme Parks offers a
First Aid Center? Staffed with nurses, these facilities offer a clean, cool place to stop in and take care of any medical needs you have.
AdventHealth is Walt Disney World Resort's official health care provider, and they offer many services that are super helpful for Guests, like prescription delivery, convenient urgent care, equipment delivery, and more. Hopefully, this gives you peace of mind as you prepare for your travel!
Larry, I hope this is helpful to you! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon,
Jennifer
