Can we bring a personal stroller? Is there a size limit?

    Hi Jessica!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney before what I’m sure will be a SPOOK-tacular visit to Walt Disney World Resort tomorrow!

Jessica, as a mom of three, I can honestly say a stroller is essential when visiting the parks with little ones.  You are welcome to bring your personal stroller as long as it meets the size guidelines outlined in the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules.  Currently, the rule related to strollers prohibits "strollers that are greater than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132 cm) in length."  It is also important to note that stroller wagons are not allowed in the parks. I've traveled to the parks with single and double strollers before and haven't had any issues, but a quick measurement should help ease your mind.

If you’d prefer, all Disney parks also offer stroller rentals.  These strollers cannot leave the parks, but if you plan to park hop, you’ll be happy to know that you only pay one price for an all-day rental.  To take advantage of this park hopping benefit, you can return your rental at your first park and then just show your receipt to pick up a new stroller at the next park.  There is also a special discount if you purchase a length-of-stay rental!

When it’s time to enter a ride queue, restaurant, or many entertainment venues, stroller parking is available throughout the parks. I suggest having any valuables and essential items in a smaller diaper bag that you can easily grab to take with you. I also like to either tie a ribbon or attach a unique luggage tag to the handlebar of my stroller so I can find it more easily, as Cast Members may rearrange strollers while you’re away.

Before I go, I have one more quick tip to share with you! Each of the four theme parks has a Baby Care Center—perfect for meeting the needs of any little ones visiting with you! There are spacious changing areas, essentials for sale (like a selection of diapers, over-the-counter medicine, and baby food), and quieter feeding spaces, including areas for nursing or pumping if needed.

Jessica, I hope you and your little one enjoy a wonderful Halloween visit to Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we’re all ears!

    See ya real soon!
