Welcome to planDisney, Pamela! We are glad you stopped by with your question.
You'll be happy to know that you're welcome to bring a personal water bottle with you into the parks. I used to purchase bottled water, but I didn't like how it didn't stay cold and would get condensation all over my bag. So a couple of years ago I started bringing an insulated stainless steel water bottle with a leakproof lid. I fill it with ice and water at my Disney Resort Hotel before heading out for the day and then refill it from water fountains or
bottle filling stations in the parks. Complimentary cups of ice or ice water are also available at any quick-service dining location. Keep in mind that all Guests will undergo a
security screening prior to entering the park, and I found holding the bottle in my hand (rather than keeping it in my bag) as I go through security expedites the process.
All
Disney Resorts Collection hotels offer refillable mugs for purchase, which includes unlimited refills during your stay at self-serve beverage islands at quick-service dining locations at any Disney Resort Hotel. Coca-Cola products, Powerade, Gold Peak Iced Tea, coffee, and tea are available. While you are welcome to bring your mug and beverage with you to the parks if you like, refills are only available at the resorts. Theme park dining locations do not participate in the refillable mug program.
I thought you might like to know that in addition to water,
Guests are welcome to bring other non-alcoholic beverages and snacks into the parks. Note that glass containers and food that requires refrigeration or preparation are not permitted.
I hope that helps! Pamela, if you have any additional questions, please stop by and see us again. Have a wonderful vacation!
