Can I bring in my own water bottle and snacks?

    Hello Heide,
So glad you stopped by to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

It looks like you're doing some planning for an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation-you must be so excited! My family includes four kids, ranging in age from grade school through college and nobody is ever hungry at the same time...or maybe I should say that they're all hungry all the time.

Yes, you may bring your own snacks and water bottle, provided that you don't bring any glass into the park.  We bring insulated cups or water bottles for our visits, as it is often humid and hot.  Staying hydrated is important.  Bringing your own snacks is not only an economical way to feed your family, it saves time, as you can have a quick bite while waiting in line or while walking from one part of the park to another.

I can't help but suggest a few places in the parks to have snacks...we love the treats in Big Top Souvenirs in Magic Kingdom Park.  The caramel and chocolate apples are some of our favorites and one apple can feed two or three-you can ask the friendly Cast Members inside the shop to cut them up for you.  In Epcot, we love L'Artisan des Glaces, the ice cream shop located in France in the World Showcase.  The macaron sandwiches are superb.

Heide, please come back for any additional vacation planning questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
